Seara Clayborn

Native of Evanston, Illinois, Seara was a four year varsity starter at Evanston Township before graduating in 2014. Seara still holds the record of most 3’s hit in one half and also in one game at Evanston Township. Seara went on to play at State Fair C.C. She was a one-year letter winner who averaged 10.2 points per game and 3.2 assist per game as a sophomore and helped lead the Lady Roadrunners to a runner-up finish at the District K Championship. After obtaining an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, Seara transferred to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to continue her academic and basketball career. At the start of her junior year, Seara experienced a career ending knee injury. While at UNCW, Seara became very involved with the promoting of Special Olympics. Seara is the identical twin sister of Sierra Clayborn. Seara graduated from UNCW in 2018 with a degree in History, a degree in Biochemistry, and also with a minor in English. Seara is currently pursuing her medical degree from Loyola Medical School. Prior to working for Lady Lighting, Seara coached at Full Package for two years and is currently the JV Assistant Coach and a Varsity Assistant Coach at Evanston Township. In her free time Seara loves watching classic movies, spending time with her family and playing with her three dogs
