We offer high-level basketball training for players seeing to play in college or to be varsity high school players.  Whether you're just starting out or seeking a college scholarship, Illinois Lady Lightning is committed to helping you achieve your goals.

High school teams compete on the Select 40 circuit and other regional and national tournaments.  We also have teams that play a more regional schedule. Lady Lightning is a Select 40 Girls Basketball Program.

Spring/Summer
March - July
Select 40 is the premier Girls AAU Circuit in the United States.  Illinois Lady Lightning was one of the first clubs invited in the 2022 inaugural season of the Select 40 Circuit.  Since then, the circuit has grown and is home to the top 40 AAU Clubs all over the country, the top tournament schedule and attracts the top college coaches.

Select 40 has offered an incredible opportunity and exposure for our High School athletes.  We look forward to playing in front of full baselines and top competition again in 2024.  We will have teams from 14U-17U in the spring.  Meaning incoming freshman (current 8th graders) thru current Juniors (incoming Seniors).

Fall High School Training Camp
September - October
High school training camp is for current high school players that want to get ready for the season. Players that wish to play for Illinois Lady Lightning the following Spring are encouraged to attend these sessions.  If you are unable to attend training camp and are interested in playing in the spring, please contact us below.
