Illinois Lady Lightning was founded in 2001 and has since been one of the premier girls basketball clubs in Illinois.  Our Youth program focuses on teaching young athletes, who possess a passion for the game an opportunity to develop and improve their fundamental basketball skills.  Whether you're just starting out or hoping to play on your Middle School, High School or even someday in College, Illinois Lady Lightning is committed to helping you achieve your goals.

Our Youth teams have (2) seasons:

Fall/Winter Season
September - February 
Tryouts are held at the end of August. Players are evaluated and placed on teams based on their skills and performance at tryouts.  Youth teams compete in the Lady Lightning League that is hosted at Montini High School and local tournaments in the Chicagoland area. Elite teams may compete in additional events that may require out of state travel.

Spring/Summer Season
March - July
Tryouts are held at the end of February. Players are evaluated and placed on teams based on their skills and performance at tryouts.  Youth teams compete in local/regional tournaments in the Chicagoland area.  Some teams may have the opportunity to travel out of state to compete.  Elite teams will compete in regional events and may require travel out of state.
