John Shelton

John has over 15 years of coaching experience which includes coaching at the middle school, high school, collegiate, and AAU/travel levels. He is a former high school teacher and athletic director. He has assisted with the development of many athletes that have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional levels. John truly receives gratification from being involved with developing athletes and being around basketball. He also currently officiates at the collegiate level for NCAA and NAIA men’s basketball. John grew up on the South-side of Chicago where he graduated from and played for Morgan Park High School and played four years of basketball at St. Xavier University.
