Lexi Salazar

Lexi started playing basketball at the young age of five, and by the time she was eight, she was on her first travel team. She spent her last year of AAU playing on Lady Lightning 17U Select. Lexi has coached at many camps and clinics in the Chicagoland area over the last several years.

Lexi made a state appearance her freshman year at Montini Catholic High School, but transferred to her public high school her sophomore year due to COVID. At Plainfield North, Lexi led her team to three conference championships, and she was an all-conference team selection all three years as well. Her senior year she was selected as conference MVP. Lexi scored over 1000 points in her high school career, and she now holds seven school records at Plainfield North. Lexi has committed to play basketball this year at American University in Washington D.C.
